With over 15 years of experience in the construction and timber industries, Daniel Komen is a seasoned professional specialising in sales, business development, and project management. His career spans various roles, ranging from business owner, telecommunication installer, significant infrastructure projects like the West Gate Bridge to serving as a Showroom Timber and Flooring Specialist.

Daniel’s journey in the timber industry began over a decade and a half ago, with the last seven plus years dedicated to timber sales. His roles have encompassed sales estimating, account management, and business development, where he has managed key accounts with major industry players such as MITRE 10, Dahlsens, and Bowens. Known for his customer-centric approach, Daniel excels in problem-solving and ensuring exceptional customer service is paramount.

Previous roles include Victorian Timber Sales positions at Simmonds Lumber and Hume Timber & Doors, as well as various sales and business development roles at Dyson Currie Timber Wholesaler and Australian Sustainable Hardwoods.

In addition to his professional expertise, Daniel holds multiple qualifications, including a Certificate IV in Building & Construction: Estimating, a Certificate III in Digital Reception Technology, a Certificate II in Telecommunications Cabling, and a Certificate III in Forest & Forest Products (Sawmilling & Processing).

He is also an accomplished individual outside of his work, deeply involved in family life and sports, with a notable history in Australian Rules Football and Golf.
